Compliance Analyst

Compliance Analyst

This is a great opportunity to join a relationship-based property and casualty insurance company that has a great culture and collaborative work environment.  As a Compliance Analyst, you will report to the Corporate Counsel, who has primary responsibility for compliance, and work independently to assist in the research and analysis of regulatory compliance requirements in 10 states.

What you will also do:

  • Review various trade association publications and prepare summary reports of regulatory compliance changes and related issues
  • Maintain the compliance database and calendar to ensure a timely response to data calls, regulatory inquiries and statutory changes
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure consistent policies and procedures are maintained and upheld
  • Analyze market conduct reports and other compliance related bulletins to identify and communicate current regulatory trends
  • Assist with conducting compliance related research and analysis and compiling information as needed
  • Assist with preparing and distributing formal compliance notifications and other related projects

The qualifications you need include….

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Excellent research and analytical expertise
  • Strong writing, reading and comprehension skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Possess great initiative and organizational skills
