Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst

As a Systems Analyst at Badger Mutual Insurance, you can join a relationship-based company whose foundation was built upon compassion, protection, and fostering the education and success of our employees. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, you will analyze, design, document, train, implement and support business applications and systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Gather data to interpret and evaluate system requirements and network specifications, document and develop reports
  • Construct and/or use existing sample data to test programs and systems and identify problems and develop solutions
  • Support employees, agents, and policy holders by providing resolution to user problems and system training
  • Monitor all IT systems and serve as coordinator for various projects
  • Assist System Administrator with network duties including hardware, security, and network applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science or related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Ability to program web and web service applications utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Crystal Reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software, desktop applications, and operating systems
  • Ability to work in the Milwaukee WI home office a minimum of 3 days per week
  • Ability to logically communicate information (both written and verbally) to a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
