to Go Team Badger!
TEAM BADGER
kicked off this year’s United Way campaign on September 14,
2007.
Employees united as one
team, TEAM BADGER, with
one purpose in mind - raise more money for United Way's 2007
campaign than was raised during the 2006 campaign.
The Employee Planning Committee energized the team with a
super luncheon and representatives from Big Brothers/Big
Sisters and Aurora Visiting Nurse Association of Wisconsin
provided inspiration. Team spirit went spiraling when
Milwaukee Bucks mascot, Bango, and the Klements Sausage
Racers paid us a visit. At the end of the kick-off day
employees were scrambling to record on the calendar their
events.
 Ideas, enthusiasm and
energy were boundless. From September 20th
through November 15th, a total of 89 fundraising
events were held - from bowling to trivia, rummage to
raffle, candles to jewelry sales, and bake sales to employee
cooked lunches.
$31,585
was raised by 125 employees through pledges and
fundraising
-- a 3% increase over last year's total!
