As a corporate citizen since 1887, Badger Mutual Insurance Company has pledged continued support to the community where we work and conduct our business.  Our employees have dedicated their time and talent to many charities within the community, with special attention to those charities located in our immediate neighborhood.  Badger employees contribute through the company and volunteer many hours of their own time, participating actively in fundraising efforts, community organization committees and mentoring local students.

National Night Out Block Party

Our 25th Annual National Night Out Block Party was held on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Guests included neighborhood residents, officers and Captain Gaglione from the 2nd District Police Station, McGruff the Crime Watch Dog, Community Liaison Officer Jesus Gloria, and individuals from neighboring businesses and community organizations.

Employees from Badger’s Community Relations Committee teamed up with Management to prepare a picnic dinner that included grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and side dishes. Fun activities included Blongo Ladder Golf and a bean bag toss game with prizes, cotton candy, guess how many candy contests, and temporary tattoos. All children that attended received a gear bag filled with fun items and received a prize in a kids’ only raffle.

We give special thanks to members of the Keystone Youth Leadership program at the Don and Sallie Davis Boys & Girls Club who volunteered and helped with all areas of the party.
